Sam Maguire cup visits Grace Park ETNS

Friday October 20th will be a day the children of Grace Park will remember forever. We had a special assembly where we welcomed Dublin and St. Vincent's star Shane Carthy. We were also delighted to have Emma Byrne GPO and Tony O'Connell the juvenile chairperson at St. Vincent's GAA in attendance. We were delighted that Shane answered all of our questions and he even asked the children some questions of his own! We learned that Shane was a Dublin, Leinster and All-Ireland champion with his club St. Vincent's in 2014. He is a leinster and All-Ireland winner with Dublin too. We also found out that Shane has a Leinster and All-Ireland U21 medal with Dublin. We all wished Shane the very best of luck in the Dublin county final next weekend against Ballymun Kickhams. We hope that if St. Vincent's win the final that Shane might visit us again with another cup!
